Service Description

Unfortunately, in sport injuries are likely to happen. Minimise your risk of this happening, and maximise your recovery potential should it happen. Baseline assessment utilises high performance technology to establish a comprehensive understanding of your current physical condition. Identifying injury risks, such as force production (weak muscles), poor biomechanics (poor movement) , limb asymmetries (one limb stronger than the other), and muscle group ratios (Hamstring:Quadriceps ratios associated with injury risks) in order to put in place interventions to prevent these injuries from occurring. Think of it like an MOT for your car... Make sure everything is running right and isn't going to break! The baseline data is critical should an injury unfortunately occur. Having a clear objective target to get you back to your sport is crucial in regards to rehabilitation planning, monitoring, and return to play decisions. With baseline data you know what gap you have to close to be back to your best. You know if the rehabilitation is working or not, through retests and comparisons to previous scores. You know if it's safe to return to your sport, or if you're still at risk of reinjury. Take out the guesswork with objective, reliable, and repeatable data. Ensuring you minimise injury risk, and return from injury with as low a risk of re-injury as possible, and continue playing the sport you love.
